El Nido Family Centers Champions for Families Awards Dinner

The Awards Dinner will send the message: “87 Years of Cultivating Hope, Trust and Growth,” as El Nido’s youth will be the real stars of the evening, with their interactive exhibits including art, music, dance and entrepreneurial projects.

The evening recognizes the commitment and success of individuals and corporate partners working with El Nido in pursuit of its Mission…a commitment to the underserved and at-risk population of Los Angeles County.

We are proud to be honoring Liz Herrera, El Nido Family Centers’ Executive Director, with the Lifetime Champion Award, for 30 years of serving El Nido and the community. KCET will be honored with the Community Impact Award to highlight their dedication and commitment for quality education and family programming.

The loss of millions of dollars in public money from local and state governments means El Nido is forced to cut services to over 14,000 children, parents and family members in Los Angeles that they help every year.
