Autism Speaks Walk Los Angeles - 5K Walk and Autism Resource Fair

Join us on World Autism Awareness Day as thousands unite to raise awareness and critical funds for children and adults impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism Speaks Walk Los Angeles will be taking place on April 2, 2016 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Let’s “Light It Up Blue,” together!

Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disorder in the U.S. and we need more volunteers to join our fight. Whether this is your first walk or the 10th, take the first step and register today.  This successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.

Hosted by ABC7 Eyewitness News Anchor Phillip Palmer and Univision’s Gabriela Teissier, this fun-filled, family friendly event will feature the largest autism resource fair, kid-friendly activities and live performances by ‘80s cover band Flashback Heart Attack and John Easdale, lead singer of Dramarama, to name a few. Registration and the resource fair opens at 8 a.m., the opening ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:30 a.m.
