The San Pedro Peninsula Cancer Guild, a non-profit group dedicated to fundraising for cancer research and services, is pleased to announce the date for their 25th anniversary event, An Affaire to Remember.

This popular luncheon, 21 vendor boutique and designer fashion show will be held on Sunday, November 8th at the Long Beach Hyatt Regency Hotel , 200 South Pine Ave in Long Beach, CA. Self parking and valet parking are available at a discount for guests of the Guild. All proceeds of the event benefit the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. The luncheon begins at 12:30 and includes fashions presented by Robert Ellis (pictured with Cybill Shepard). The cost is $95, and reservations are a must. Last year the luncheon sold out quickly at 585 attendees. There is no charge to shop the boutique which opens at 10 am and includes furs and fine jewelry as well as clothing, fashion jewelry, Christmas ornaments, holiday decor, home baked treats, the Guild cookbook and much more! Tickets for the raffle may be purchased separately at $5 each or 5 for $20. The top prize is $1000 cash and the winner need not be present at the drawing.
