4th Annual Manifest Your Destiny Toys For Tots Drive

For the fourth consecutive year, Hill Harper (CSI:NY) and Nate Parker (The Great Debaters) are partnering with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) for Los Angeles’ needy families to collect toys for the less fortunate. Last year, this drive collected nearly 2,000 toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program – the most of any event in Hollywood

The two actors are teaming up through Harper’s organization, Manifest Your Destiny (MYD), to collect new, unwrapped toys.  The MYD foundation is a non-profit youth organization providing a foundation for young men and women to use as a launching pad to success. Host committee members for this year’s event include, Nicole Sherzinger (The X-Factor, Pussycat Dolls), Gabrielle Union (Bad Boys II), Dule Hill (Psych, The West Wing) and Lashinda Demus (Olympian, American record holder 400mH).

The two part event will take place on December 13th 2011 at Drai’s Hollywood, and will consist of an invite only VIP reception followed by a toy drive that is open to the public (9-12am).  The toy drive’s success relies on donations.  For entry into the event, a toy or in kind donation to MYD is required.
